International Conference "Molecular aspects of solid state and interfacial electrochemistry (MolE)", Dubna, August 26-31, 2012

This event will take place on August, 26 - 31, 2012 in Dubna. It is arranged jointly by Moscow State University and Joint Institute for Nuclear Research. Sessions will take place in Dubna branch of the Skobeltsyn Institute of Nuclear Physics, Moscow State University.

The goal is to illustrate interaction of experimental electrochemistry and electrochemical material science with theoretical and computational approaches to complex condensed matter systems and their fragments (currently operating or future electrode materials, electrolytes and charged interfaces).

About 40 invited speakers will present the lectures covering the following topics:

• ionic transport as related to the structure of crystalline, nanocrystalline and amorphous solids
• coupled electronic and ionic transport in solids
• computational approached to describe the electronic structure of electrode materials and interfaces
• kinetics of charge transfer at electrified interfaces
