1. Participants are invited to submit manuscripts of their work presented at Hirschegg to the Cambridge University Journal: Laser and Particle Beams.
2. Participants are invited (encouraged) to bring with them a one page summary of their talk. The format of this should comply with the format of the report: High Energy Density Physics with Intense Ion and Laser Beams.

3. Young Scientists Award: There will be an award for a young scientist honouring his or her extraordinary oral or poster presentation. The award comprises a certificate, and moreover the participation at next years IFSA conference in Nara (Japan) will be sponsored to cover the conference fee and the flight ticket up to 2.000 €.
